I was wondering if anyonee could give me part numbers for exhaust manifolds of a mav. I have a '77 4 door and i'm droping a 302 in it and I going to th junkyard to dig through a pile of exhaust manifolds, and was wondring if anyone had part numbers for a pair that would fit.

On a side note, I'm going to do a little head work and I could use a good source to find valves. I was thinking 2.02 for intake and 1.60 for exhaust.

I also have a motorcraft carb and it's was said to be a Cobra Jet, and I was wondering if any one could tell me how to identify it. I could use any information on it from tag #'s to CFM size.

    Any help would be appricated.

    Carb and Manifold Stuff

Wish I had the #'s for you but have scrapped all the ones I had when switching to headers. Someone here on the board should have a set left over. As far as the carb goes I think the correct name for it would be a Quadrajet, they are the basic design as the Edelbrock's and probably around 550 to 600 cfm. Just assuming though and will have to get out the books if I can find them in my pile of stuff in the shop :D

    I think

I'm not sure Motorcraft produced the Qudrajets, but I read the range was from 735 to 780 CFM. I was just looking for conformation and maybee some ID #'s. Any info would be usefull. Also I heard that either '69 or '70 Mustang motor mouninng brackets would work on 302's in Mavericks, dose anyone know which year?

Don't waste your money putting 2.02s in stock heads from a 302. The best you could probably do using stock exhaust manifolds would probably be a set of 69-70 351 heads with some thermactor porting on the exhaust side. Any more than that will be wasted as the manifolds don't flow that well.
