I just found out I have one or more holes in my manifold and my first thought was "wow I need to get that replaced" but then I find out that whatever holes it has can be covered with sealant. Well I just found the part and am ready to purchase it but first I'd like to hear what you guys have to say.

Where are the holes? Choke heat riser tubes? If so, they can be sealed for the time being.

    I-6?

You should replace it. Unless you are determined to keep it stock, and the only place that you can find a replacement is from Ford, I would look at an aftermarket header. You can still keep it 'midasized' and quiet with a header and possibly help the performance as well as save some cash. I am not sure on this as I am not big I-6 follower. If you do find a used one, I would have it surfaced to insure an even fit at the cylinder head. I agree with the other guys, don't patch it.

POR 15 (www.por15.com) makes a manifold resto kit that they claim will repair cracks and pits etc. I haven't tried it myself but there appear to be lots of folks on the forum that swear by their other products.

    thanx for the info guys

Well I basically already decided to replace it, I got a por-15 and autokrafters catalog and I'm gonna get a new manifold from autokrafters and maybe use some por-15 coating to keep it good maybe. Well thanx for the help guys.
