Got the comet started today. The last bug was a bad fuel pump. Funny how the guy let all the mechanical stuff go. ( when I looked at it he said it was touchy starting, and didn't run very well, my price was accordingly set). The starter was bad, modulator for at was not hooked up, wiring shabby and a few misc other things. Not counting Valves and rings. Can't put it on road yet. Still needs brake drums lower control arm bushings and dress up my wiring & some TLC. Sounds good, glad to be this far... Jan

    Congrats!

I bet it felt good to hear it turn over and fire up! It is the little things like this, that keep you motivated. :)

    Do you have any pics?

I also had a bad front drum and wheel cylinder leak. Got a drum, from junkyard or course. Also had a rubber plunger for wheel cylinder. Emeoid out cylinder, cleaned up parts and put togather. Was a good fix for a while. Need to get wheel clyinder kits. Also did some wiring for Voltage regulator and warning lites. So everything there works good. Next step after wheel cylinders is head lights, park, brake and turn signals and other misc wiring stuff. This stuff is getting funner by the day..... Jan
