floor shifter

    i want too put a nice hurst shifter or b&m shifter in my maverick. i want to keep the bench seat but i dont know which shifters can be installed without having trouble with the bench seat

    Most of your aftermarket shifters are cable controlled so you could mount them pretty much anywhere as long as the shift cable is long enough.

    Did you have issues with the neutral saftey hookup?

    We are installing a b & m in my 1972 302 v8. Column shift.

    We are having a hard time figuring out the neutral saftey.

    I bypassed the neutral safety switch in the column and wired up the switch in the B&M shifter.

    Some people, including me, remove the steering wheel lock to prevent the possibility of it engaging when you don't want it to.
