fly wheel question

    hey does a 351 cleaveland use the same flywheel as the 302 and the 351w. i really need to know.

    depends on what transmission your going to use and the internal balence but yes, they flywheels them self with physically interchange

    Yes.
    They can use a 28 oz 289/302/351w flywheel or flexplate.
    Just the same as those SBFs can use a 351c flywheel of flexplate if the engine is 28 oz.

    ok cool thanks thats what i wanted to know i was a little tired when i posted this las night, or i would have specified more. i was aware that there are different sizes. just was mainly wanting to know if the 28 oz. balance was the same on the sbf motors. and i do know that they changed the balance in 83 or 84.

    250 6 cyls also use a 157 tooth flywheel that will bolt up to any sbf v8 but its netural balenced (0 oz), just something to keep an eye out for.
