well...definitely not a thousand dollars..heck, not even 500 imo.. if it is that bad..mine was 300 and its a two door with none of the problems you mentioned..
It seems like you really want this car but to tell you the truth it sounds like it is maybe only worth $300 low end, $500 high end! Trust me, buying a mav takes careful and precise thought! There is a mav out there for you, but just be patient. I paid $1200 for mine and it only had a few pin holes in the rear fenders and some minor engine work. Needless to say, I have put almost $4500 into it and it still not anywhere near where I want it to be. Make an offer to the person and see, if all else fails just wait it out, another one will come along.
ok thanx guys thanx fellas i think im gonna let this one go unless they will do it for under 300. im not givin up though ill find one. but i forgot to mention that it runs very well for its age and we drove it around for over an hour and it seemed fine. just cosmetic and tuned a little. thanx again
I GAVE ONE (1)GRAND FOR MINE.THE GUY HAD REPLACED EVERYTHING FROM THE RAD. TO THE BRAKES & TIRES. I NOW HAVE ABOUT FIFTEEN (15) GRAND IN IT AND STILL HAVE THE PAINT TO GO. SO IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO WITH IT TO WHAT IT IS WORTH. YOU ARE THE ONE. GOOD LUCK!!! FRANK
