follow up please reply

    ok guys i saw the car and the interior all needs to be replaced and there are rust spots all over the car and a few rust holes in the drivers side door and the drivers side door doesnt close right. here is what needs to be replaced
    radiator fan
    power steering belt
    tires
    spark plugs and wires
    headlights,tailights, and signals
    springs
    shocks
    primered and painted
    brakes need to be replaced
    and windshield wipers
    how much u think its worth??

    well...definitely not a thousand dollars..heck, not even 500 imo.. if it is that bad..mine was 300 and its a two door with none of the problems you mentioned..

    It seems like you really want this car but to tell you the truth it sounds like it is maybe only worth $300 low end, $500 high end! Trust me, buying a mav takes careful and precise thought! There is a mav out there for you, but just be patient. I paid $1200 for mine and it only had a few pin holes in the rear fenders and some minor engine work. Needless to say, I have put almost $4500 into it and it still not anywhere near where I want it to be. Make an offer to the person and see, if all else fails just wait it out, another one will come along.

    ok thanx guys

    thanx fellas i think im gonna let this one go unless they will do it for under 300. im not givin up though ill find one. but i forgot to mention that it runs very well for its age and we drove it around for over an hour and it seemed fine. just cosmetic and tuned a little. thanx again

    I GAVE ONE (1)GRAND FOR MINE.THE GUY HAD REPLACED EVERYTHING FROM THE RAD. TO THE BRAKES & TIRES. I NOW HAVE ABOUT FIFTEEN (15) GRAND IN IT AND STILL HAVE THE PAINT TO GO.
    SO IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO WITH IT TO WHAT IT IS WORTH.

    offer him a hundred bucks. you car use it as a parts car. the right mav will come along. out of nowhere a real nice 70 landed on me for almost nuthin. be very patient. and join the mcci club. a great source of parts, sometimes cars from guys you can trust and best of all great advice!
