I know it's not a Maverick, but it seems a little... well... check it out I understand what these cars are and can be worth in good shape, but this is re-donkulous http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodg...746998QQihZ005QQcategoryZ6199QQssPageNameZWDV
That's funny, I was thinking the same thing. Those are neat cars, but not THAT neat. 440's are great engines, but come on. It's not a HEMI.
In storage since 1973. That car had a rough 4 years. I think it would need to be a 6-Pak car to get that money. Then again the Mopar guys have some pretty deep pockets.
I have seen this car listed a couple other times. Always starts at a very high initial price. Never sells... So, I guess there is only one guy who thinks this car is worth this kind of money...
i guessing it was probably wrecked early in its life and the owner was never motivated to do more then the front clip swap and just parked 'er
I guess it could be living the rest of its life in a field somewhere. That's a lot of money to be spending on a project car...
A local guy here, had a 12,000 unrestored original orange HEMI Superbird in mint condition with its original tires that sold at Barrett-Jackson for something like $175,000 a couple years ago. There is a HUGE difference between his car and the one listed.
I think I'll buy it and turn it into a monster truck. ps. I don't like guys asking big money for junk, and justifying it since it's "original".
Its been rolled over on its hood and roof,(driver side)Surprised the wing is still straight.I would say 20K if it runs good TOPS It is a rare color.Like the guy said 30 something in that shade of green. Its been rolled so how tweaked is the chassis??? probably very, thats why it never got fixed up.
eBay needs this smiley so you can click it on auctions like this... That car looks just like the one that sat in the woods just down the road from our house. Was there from about 73 to 95. The owner of the car was a young soldier that went MIA in 'Nam. The father left it sit in the woods, about 100' off Hwy 98, next to his house. He left it for the world to see, but wouldn't sell it in case his son came home. He got so tired of saying no, he started running folks off with guns. I guess he passed away, the house just turned up empty one day, and the car was gone. It was very low miles and original too, but not worth spit the last time I saw it. The first time I saw it, the car was fairly nice and definately salvageable.
