Ford seems to have dug out alot of the promo, display and advertising pics, old and new, and are selling them in poster and art form

    www.fordimages.com

Sadly, a search for "Maverick" only turned up two pictures, one of the 1974 Maverick assembly line in action, the other, a "Groovy" illustrated ad of a yellow & lime green striped Grabber saying "Run Wild", "Be a Maverick" complete with 70's style shooting stars in the background.

Of the 32 Comet pics that turned up in search, none were of the 70-up generation :(

But there's a ton of pics of other Ford, Mercury and Lincoln cars and trucks, New, classic, prototypes, concepts, racing and advertising pics, available in a variety of sizes on anything from "Archival paper" (posters) to stretched canvas and double matte framing.

Cool coincidence: They also sell reproduction Ford service/repair and dealership signs.....and the example they used for the dealerships signs was Santa Paula Ford Sales and Service from my hometown of Santa Paula CA, the very dealership where my Mom bought her 1970 Maverick new....the Maverick that eventually became my first car.

I'm definately getting that one for my garage!
