ford wont run 289 65 motor

    hey all once agian another problem
    my 289 i bought outta a 65 mustang WONT RUN okay alll is timed perfect and ya but no wooommblaaa wooommmblllla okay so any sugestions just wondering what iam doin wrong here cuz its gettin frustrating well thanx

    We need more info:

    Is ignition wired ok?

    Is carb getting gas?

    Is the engine firing at all?

    Is the distributer set in on #1 @ TDC?

    Give us a run down of what you did when setting up the engine and we may be able to give you some help. Good luck, and let us know.
