Okay I realize that I might get flamed a little but I need some help/advice. I know there are some fox body mustang guys here, so here goes...

I just got my 89 5.0 coupe running two weeks ago. I installed a different motor along with new convertable mounts (autozone). The car is lowered and has a lakewood ds safety loop and a ffrp alum. ds. Sucka rubs and knocks all over the loop. The ds seems to be offset to one side and is all over the bolts of the loop. After my intial test drive I noticed and identified the problem right away and loosened everything up and this helped a little but still knocked a little under hard accel and left turns. Until today, I got on it hard and the problem has gotten way worse.

I want to go drag racing!!!!!, going to pick up my slicks tonight, but I'll be damned if I'm going with the car in this shape.

    Any suggestions?

    * I've registered over at thecorral.net and have searched all old threads but cant find any solid answers. I would post a new thread but I have to wait for admin. to approve my registration. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks guys, Jamie

Thanks for the quick reply Chris (y) . So you had the same issue? Was it hitting the bolt heads?

You might get help if you did not flip everybody off in your signature picture. It is very annoying to look at every time I read your posts.

What is moving, the tranny or the rear end? Sounds like the rear end bushings may be soft, letting the rear shift left.....just a guess
