Hey ya'll, I got a pair of bucket seats out of an '86 Mustang GT that I have mounted in my Mav. I am looking for foam and upholstery for them but I am getting confused. The foam is easy to find. But I want to recover them with black vinyl but I can't seem to find any for the '86. All the places I check separate their covers from '84-'89 and '90-'93. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the earlier and later seats? I would think that the '90-'93 covers would fit but I am not sure. Does anyone here know? And here's a pic of what my seats look like for reference. Thanks guys

Have you been to this site? http://www.tmiproducts.com/
Look at the fox body section, and you may be able to narrow it down.
I have the same seats, but I bought them already re-done in Black.
I like the 1990 style, I'm not a huge fan of the Halo.

Yeah, that's where I was lookin. They have the seat covers I want but they're for the '90 model seats. I just don't know if those covers will fit my '86 seats or not

Those look just like the turbo coupe seats I have waiting to get recovered. Someone mentioned a turbo/super coupe website a few years ago, but the name escapes me. Might be worth looking for.

If the covers are not worn or torn, you might be able to have them dyed.

Did you get those off of ebay from a place in MO? Looks just like a set I had on my watch list.

I think there was one or two years where Mustangs used Recaro seats, with the "halo" headrests.

If you can't find what you need from Mustang sources, You might check with Recaro

Those are the 85/86 Mustang GT "halo" seats.
