I'm going to do the shock tower mod and drop in a stock (well almost) 351W. Has anyone done Front Coil Over Shocks on a stock Maverick suspension? I've seen them used in the M II style front suspensions but haven't heard about them on stock Maverick. If (and I doubt it) it hasn't been done before, besides beefing up the shocks mounting points what are the pros and cons? This is not for the drag Mav but my street '72 Grabber.
I'll try to post the 'before' picture now and a "current" picture tomorrow. If the 'before' picture shows up y'all will see why it only cost $50.00.

E Bay, huh. No thanks. It's hard enough to find a car with good floor pans. 'sides, I got a bad case of the "cheapskates". Ha ha. But seriously, all i'm going to do is cut the shock towers like on George Thibeault car. I was considering the coil over shocks to see if it would allow me to make the cut a little bigger to increase the room so work on the engine would be easier.
