AHhhhh 5x7... i JUST looked on ebay and they had a 4x10 direct fit. But didn t you have to modify the 5x7 by drilling wholes.

Did not have to modifiy the speaker...just had to drill some holes in the dash bracket.

Let me ask you this craig...

My stereo in the car has 2 front and 2 rear outputs... i have 2 in the back now. but i want to put a SINGLE one up in the dash... do you know HOW to wire a 3 way speaker system? if I tie the 2 fronts pos together and negs together, would that make the rear speakers go mono? I dont wanna have to (unless i have to) just hook the front speaker to a front left... listening to The Beatles Sargent Peppers CD on one side dont play very well... hehehe....

    Chaz.

No....but it will make your radio smoke like crazy.

Seriously...that will fry your radio. A dual voice coil speaker means that it is constructed so that both the left and right channels go into one speaker. The speaker will have terminals for both the left and right channels.
