I have done everything imaginable with my grease gun. I have filled both zerts on the upper control arms, the ball joints, and tie rods.. as well as anything that had a zert on it lol. But i still have this nasty squeekin skronk type thing going on if i come to a stop. its real embarrassing.... and i dont know what to do about it. Is there anything else that i may have missed?

My 4 door is doing the exact thing and it is the coil insulators. Auto Krafters sell them. I could not find them anywhere else.

I have also found that if your seals are cracked on the upper control arm, the grease doesn't get all the way in and the squeeking won't stop.

My '77 did the same thing. I ended up replacing the bushings in the upper control arms...it actually probably would have been easier to just replace the upper arms, but at the time I think it was a matter of $$ :)

The rubber coil insulators (top & bottom) are available from any Mustang supply house. They are the same.

I was hoping it wouldnt come down to having to pull the springs n stuff. Its all good though. I leave in 3 1/2 weeks for basic training, so i wont be driving it during all the yelling, marching/running, and pushups. Ill get back the second week of december and have until january fifth before AIT... so i'll have the money for some hardcore upper AND lower control arms.

Thanx for the input guys, it is much appreciated,
    Kyle B.

I will be doing basic at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina. My MOS is 63B (light wheel vehicle mechanic). My AIT will be completed @ Ft. Jackson as well. I will be entering the army as E2 (PV2).
