The round Maverick badge, was on the 69.5'-72' (Non-Grabber) Mavericks. The Grabber's did not come with the round Maverick badge. The only year that I am unsure of is the 1970 Grabber. I am sure someone else here will clarify how the grill was for the 70' Grabber. The Grabbers had the 'Maverick' script badge instead over on the driver's side of the grill.

1970 Grabbers had the round medallion in the center with no grill lights. It was a black cast plastic grill. The ONLY other car to come with this grill was the 1972 Maverick Sprint.

Is it a '71 Maverick or is it a Mopa......
Nope, not one for the Grabber (unless it is a '69 ½) Like stated earlier, the Grabbers have the lights and the script logo in the grill. The grill medallion/badge you seen is the only style.

They fall off because the outer ring is made of potmetal. On the backside is 2 small tits cast into the ring which go through the metal backing plate. The plate is then bolted through the grill. Usually these pot metal tits break off. The ring and center piece fall off leaving the backing plate on the grill. I have used silicone to reattach them. Just clean off the surfaces real good.

Some of that bonding adhesive talked about in an earlier post would work well. too expensive to go out and buy. Take you grill medallion pieces to a body shop and leave it. Ask them the next time they use that bonding stuff, to glue your medallion back on. Come back a week later and it might just be done. Throw the guy $5 and tell him lunch is on you!!

    Falling off grill emblem

I'm not sure what type of adhesive you should use..... but before you put it on the next time try roughing up the grill and back of the emblem with some steal wool or sand paper of some kind that way the adhesive will have some grip between the grill and the emblem

    just an idea

    Adhesive

I have used a product called Liquid Nails when building some signs. I bonded a strip of wood directly to a piece of steel. It acted as if I welded them together, good stuff. costs about $3 and come in a tube like caulking.

    http://www.mobile-mart.com/liqudnails.htm

You can get it at pretty much any hardware store. I would try it on a scrap piece of plastic before shooting it on the grill, just to be safe. (never worked with it on plastic)
