fuse box location 74 maverick

    74 ford maverick
    where is the fuse box located in a 74 ford maverick? I have no tail lights and would like to replace the fuse for them..

    Stick your head between the steering column and the driver's side kickpanel. Keep going until your head is stuck firmly under the dashboard, and the fusebox will be right in front of you. ;)

    It's up there, just hard to see.

    If you look under the hood where the main wiring harness goes into the firewall, the fuse panel is on the inside right there. You will probably invent some new 4 letter words.

    Lord knows I sure did, I also ended up with a sore back as a result. Had to replace a missing fuse to get my dash lights to work. Not to mention to get at the fuse panel I had to remove my steering wheel and utility shelf this isn't neccessary for someone with small hands but for me it was :).
