I am about ready to pull the motor out of my donor vehicle. Unless......... well it is my 86 f-150 with a 302. I am sure that the swap is going to go smooth. The only problem I am seeing right now is the timing cover on the 302 is not cut out for the fuel pump, and the water pump is wrong. I have everything done to the truck to remove the engine except the motor mounts( doing that tomorrow). Then out comes the motor. Does anyone see any problem with what I have or am I missing something????? I have all the things need to do the v8 swap. But just wanting to check and make sure I am not missing anything. Thanks!

jst use an electric pump so you don't have to find a good early timing cover. It is getting hard to find good ones. For the water pump I think it was the 89 crown vic pump that has the right rotation and for a maverick radiator. If you use the Crown Vic pump the use the trucks accessory brackets. Or you can get a water pump for a maverick if you have maverick accessory brackets.
