my 302 has an edelbrock RPM Air-Gap with a Speed Demon (electric choke vacuum secondaries) and im using an Edelbrock Elite Series air breather... and i would really love to know if anyone out there is running an extremely similar setup and whether or not it is gonna fit under my stock hood?

    Thanx for any answers,

    intake.

I'm running a victor jr intake and I have room.
I did have to get creative with the base of my air cleaner, but it wasn't a big deal.
Just don't slam the hood shut until you're sure.:D

Mine fit as well, both with the Vic. Jr and with the Air-Gap. I had to use a dropped-base air cleaner so I could retain the 14" dia 4" thick filter, but it worked great. The only clearance issue I had was with the distributor and the air cleaner, but that was easily fixed by re-routing a couple plug wires

I had the same combo for a while and it fit well with a 3" filter. Still had about 2" on top.
