ive been wanting an old truck here lately and i found two '49 ford trucks, well enough to build 2 trucks. he's got 2 cabs, 2 beds, 6 front fenders, 4 rear fenders, 8 doors, 6 hoods and a 16ft trailer full of parts. ill be trading my old '67 mustang coupe for it all. i plan to go later this week so ill keep everyone posted
I just like light weight cars with BIG engines. I really don't have any use for a truck, old or new. I do agree that they are nice to look at.
My Uncle has an old truck, and it's rather unique, though it's not a Ford. It's a C***y Corvair 95 Pickup. NO power whatsoever, even when new, but to look at it it's kinda neat. In fact, I helped him move it earlier today. Had to pull it with a tractor. I think I got a pic of one on my computer.
Mt grandfather had one that was a full van. They have no power - flat six - and it was hot whenever we went anywhere in it during the summer in Spokane.
cool my neighbors have a 1969 volkswagon pickup but they won't sell. Me and dad own a 1951 F-1 with a 283 together. It was an old build.
Yeah, I asked him if I could have the Corvair and he said he'd given it to his son, (he's 6), so I said I'd give him a piece of candy for the truck, but my Uncle wouldn't let me make the offer.
My stepdad had several Corvairs when i was growing up, he had trucks, vans, and several cars even had one car with a turbo. The turbo car was rated at 180hp I think.
