Traded for this yesterday. '78 Caprice 2dr, 350/350, 7" & 8" rallies. Pretty neat old cruiser, I've always liked the '77-80 2drs with the fastback rear glass.

All you need now is a 454 with a 4 speed and 3.00:1 gearing. (y)

Very few of those cars left around here. Getting pretty rotten. USed to have a few nice big block Caprices nearby.

Nice score. I really like those, particularly the 2-door.

Got a friend who's into the box Caprice/Impalas.

He said the "Aero" glass 2-doors are really a rare find these days (he's owned three, has one left)

His is also blue, with 15X8 body colored rallys all around, cop caps and rings, lowered 1.5" front and back, gas shocks, beefy sway bars front and rear, TPI 350/700R4 from a wrecked IROC Camaro, 76 Laguna console/shifter and swivel bucket seats....killer cruiser

Car's now got some rings & disc brake centercaps. Not into big block Chevies(waaay too expensive for me) the original 350 does ok for now. I've got a '70 350 and a new Stealth intake laid back for a future swap. If I didn't shun EFI so much, I could get a '95 or 96 Buick Roadmaster wagon that's got a good running LT1 and 4l60e(or maybe 4l80e?) for $1800 and drive it home. Would be a neat swap I guess, but this car is not a project, just a halfway decent looking driver with room for everyone.
