guy came up to me at work the other day. asked if i was interested in a 302. he said he spun a cam bearing and just wanted to get rid of it. its a 302, .030 over, 10-1 trw forged aluminum pistons, 302 heads with guideplates and screw in studs, crane gold roller rockers, edelbrock valve covers, edelbrock torker II intake, holley 650 chrome carb, holley elctric fuel pump, & chrome oil pan. the engine was apart so i know those parts are there. he than said that he was going to junk the car,(sorry it's not a maverick). it was a 78 cobra II, with ifs, c-4 trans and a posi rear(havent checked it out yet). body was trash, but i can use the running gear and suspension.he told me i could have it all for $400. i think i got a pretty good deal.
