The front end on my car is in worse shape than most I've seen. I need to rebuild the whol =e thing, but I need to do it as cheap as possible. Anyone have a list of vehicle that share most/all the suspension components? I wouldn't mind upgrading to nicer stuff, but mostly I'm looking at safety. Thanks in advance. -Ray
heres how to do it cheap. as far as bushings go, get the energy suspensions hyper-flex complete bushing kit for a 1967-73 ford mustang.. it's summit part number ENS-4-18111 and runs about $77 bucks.. they go in flawlessly and include all bushings front AND rear. they are stiff but not like graphite..also includes end-links. you'll have to get rod ends seperately and all other non-bushing parts..
i had two bent tie rods. i was going to replace all (4). the price was $120 for the (4). i went to the junk yard and found a mav. that had a new disk front end. i got all including the power stuff. i gave $100 for all. all i have to buy is the rubber brake hoses. jmo shop around if you have time, it will save you some bucks...frank...
