    I have seen some mav's with the tail light section painted
    BLACK....and some that are not.....

    Can u guys tell me ... was this an option?
    standard?
    or
    something some one just started on there own

    PLEASE shower me with your answer's lol...

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    I think it depends on the color of the side stripes. Cars with black stripes seem to have a black painted tail-panel. Cars with a colored side stripe seem to have the same color on the rear tail-panel.

    GREAT THREAD ........ But what did I learn......??????

    lol....well that alot a people have seen a lot a diffrent
    things... and there really isn't a standard.....lol

    I'm thinking of painting mine black.... I really like that look...
    just was wondering... about a standard....lol.....

    So ...there really isnt one.. I WILL DO WHAT I WANT then
    lol...... Like I wasnt anyways... lol......
