Question...will the Granada spindel (the actual spindel where the hub will sit) sit in the same location as the stock maverick one? reason why was i was going to lower my car some more and then do the brake swap. however i want to make sure that the spindel won't make the car lower just by swaping out the spindel.

    anyone please let me know

    thanks much!

They're supposed to be virtually the same, as long as you are using the older Granada spindles, pre '79, and not the Fox platform ones from the latter models.

If I remember correctly I used granada spindles on my 67 cougar.
I believe 75-80 will work. Or just get a set of maverick ones... I did that for my mav the only difference was the outer tie rod use the granada specific for the granada spindle not a prob if yopu use the mav spindle

ah ok cool.. cuz i cut them already. i couldn't wait. even on 800 mgs of Motrin and 10 mgs of mucle relaxer and some vicodin i managed to pull the springs out twice.

i cut a half a coil total. seems on a 600 lbs coil spring ever 1/4 of a spring drops it a finger or so.

the look fine before however when i put the 18s and 17s on it looked funny. but looks much better with the car lower now another 2 fingers or so for a slight rake.

1/4 of a spring drops it a finger or so.

How big are your fingers?

big enough to give the finger to the guy that hit me and totaled my car the other day! ha haa haa

anyways, good question.. two fingers = about an inch. please remember this is on 600 lbs spring rated coils so every coil is going to have to be cut a bit differant. but if you have 600 pounders then this would be a good way to start.

    why you gonna lower yours?
