headers on a 73 maverick

    hi all,

    i have a 73 with a 302 c4, i tried the hooker comp headers for the maverick and couldnt' get them in without pulling the steering box or lifting the motor.. is there another style full lenght headers that i can stuff in the without going through hell??? thanks for the help in advance

    I believe you'll find that with all of the full length headers you are going to have to lift one side of the motor and also go in from underneath with the car jacked up as high as you can get it. I've never had a problem with the steering box though. :)
