well it took the guy building my headers almost a month but he finally finished it today he also built the front snout bars for me since I no longer have fenderwells
Oh yeah not to mention they are 2 1/4" primary tubes into 4"collectors my big block should breath well.
Just a curious question. The headers look great, but from the angle of the pictures, do the tires you have on now clear them when at full turn right or left?
It does look pretty tight in there. Maybe Robert took the term, "straight line racing" litterally?? What's the scoop Robert?
Well on the right turn it has about 1/2" to spare.......but on the driver side it just slightly rubs so I will most likely build a stop....But yes they are a tight squeeze to say the least.....he built them as tight as he could......the reason for the size of pipe....well I wanted to know that my headers will never be restricted no matter how big my motor might get and I can always choke it down at the mufflers if I need to.......also the header flanges are 429 SCJ so I can flow whatever heads I want......(in time) I just knew that I only wanted to do this once
