Well, the installation was a breeze. With homemade motor mounts they slid right in my 1970. Only had to lift the car 18" or so. BUT....... With the thicker flanges (they are ceramic coated) I can not get a plug socket on the plugs!! Any ideas? Are there thin walled sockets out there? VERY thin wall...And they look so good too.. At least they won't get dirty if I can't get the plugs snug!

    Scott

Remove the bolts that hold the header then snug up the plugs, with the plugs tight you can bolt up your header. That is what I did with my chevy until I cut away 1/2 of a socket.

Thanks, I think!! Did a thinwall help out at all? As you know, the headers are not the easiest bolts to get to sometimes. Always looking for an easier way!! Scott

Ah Ha a regular spark plug socket and 10 minutes on the bench grinder and whola! a thin walled socket that fits past the hedders. Thanks for the tips...Scott
