Click the "Gallery" button at the top and look at everyone elses paint.

What'd it come from the factory as? If it was a decent color, Id keep original.

Covering the cowl grill won't stop water from getting into cabin. The floor of the cowl chamber is sealed to the body; the cowl vent cover ISN'T. Water can get in the chamber not only thru the grill but also thru drains from the windshield area and around the wiper posts. There's no seam sealer on the seams for the cowl cover. Cover up the grill and you'll reduce the amount of water getting on your floors but I bet you'll still get some.

Is your car going to be AIR CONDITION???? If not without a cowl vent and a dark color you and your WIFE are going to be in a SWEAT BOX with only 2/60 a/c .. I like the cowl vent for air flow around my feet and for days where a/c is not needed ..

    Just my thoughts

Check the legality of the tint. Real dark tints are illegal around here.:)

dark tint is illegal here also but i am the police so i got that covered....lol no i will keep it legal...but my thoughts are if i dont wear a seatbelt i wont stop another car for it either..whats good for the goose..anyway i do appriciate the comments and ideas and am planning adding an aftermarket a/c...great news WE decided on a dark grey metallic..and because i compromised i am going to treat myself to new rims and tires....yea...as far as the cowl vent we are thinking of adding holes on the firewall for the vent maybe 2- 1" holes.
