Might not get much help here as this forum is for 1970 thru 1977 ford Mavericks and Comets. But I might as well have a go at it anyhow! From what I have read the Ford Maverick/Nissan Terrano ll are the same vehicle.... have you looked for auto or manual hubs on the front or even a power/air feed to them? Was it working before or was this the first time you used it? Was wondering if they might be stuck in freewheel mode if they not been engaged for a long time. Did front shaft or U joints break? I know some cars have a vacum system that engages the front hubs and if it worked before you might check and see if it has a vacum problem/leak.
I'm confused. you turned your mav into 4 wheel drive or was this something that was offered from the factory?....
U.S. - Ford Escape Overseas - Ford Maverick Come on App, I thought you were in tune with this kinda stuff I was confused at first too
It would help to know what transmission it has and what the exact symptoms are if you expect some intelligent help.
dude - I had no clue. Switching the mav to 4wd (I live in the mtns) came up a few beers in when hanging out with my mechanic buddy a few weeks ago. thought maybe someone did it at first lol.
