    Well, your car is a 1976, 4 door Comet, was made at the Kansas City plant but was made for Canada, out to the Pacific region specifically. It was born with a 302 / C4 auto and a 2.79 axle ratio.

    6K30F = 1976 Kansas City 4 door Comet 302 V8 - the rest of the number is the unit number

    That color code - was your car tan with a brown vinyl roof?

    Thank you! That’s super cool, it is tan and used to have a brown vinyl roof but the previous owner repainted the roof hood and trunk. Do you happen to know if the tan colour is rare?

    I don't have any production figures by color - but tan was pretty common in the 70's

    A Marti report can tell you how many Comets had that color.
