I have a 72 Maverick there is a big hole where I think a radio goes. This car has no glove box just the tray thing. Can somebody tell me the easest way to put a normal sony radio where the old radio was? Is there a face plate or do I have to make some thing? Pictures would help give me ideas. If you want to email them thats fine. tbrusoe@dock.net

    Thanks for the help.

Hi there. Well in my '72, I had a radio with the knobs, but I wanted a CD player. I went to a junkyard, and found a faceplate in a Maverick, that was just open, and my Pioneer CD player slid right in. I did'nt have to cut anything, and the faceplate didn't appear to have been cut (although this would be the easiest way) I have pictures, but I need someone to explain to me how to post them. (They are on a disk if that helps.) Preston

if you can't find one in a yard local to you, watch ebay. it wouldn't hurt to post a request in the "parts wanted" on this site. the part is relatively easy to find.
