Yea Frank very snug in most places it only has a 1/4" clearance including the master cylinder.....but the motor will be mounted solid (engine plate and solid tranny mount) so i'm not to worried about that I was more concerned with keeping it all under the hood. and that looks good!!I just could'nt bring myself into cutting a hole in my grabber hood.
Get out the sawsall because that Hood won't close when you get a carb on the intake j/k I hope it does. don't look like much room to me
Well let's just say I WON"T be racing YOU. It'll be kinda hard to steer though, with your front wheels in the air!...
Just curious...... How much had to be cut under the hood? Just wondering. BTW- that's going to be a BAAAAAAADDDDD maverick! Preston
Preston as far as how much had to be cut out under the hood.....alot!! I changed over my front end to a mustang II so in the process I no longer have the shock towers or inner fender wells. and that also answers your question too joe my spark plugs will be easy enuff to change. the 2 things I do know........1 adjusting valves on the driver side might be a pain the master cylinder sets about 1/4" away.......2 to pull the tranny.......I will have to pull it motor and trans.....cause those bell housing bolts would suck.
