Has anyone here used one of these systems on their Mav or any other car? I need a new carb for the Comet. I was thinking aout going to fuel injection but I am not sure that the Holley system would be worth the cost.

IMO, it would be easier in the long run to use a factory-type (Ford mass-air) injection than use an aftermarket one. Sure, the aftermarket ones will make more power, but Mass-air is really easy to work with. Bolt it on, connect some wires and off you go. Hard to beat Ford's injection!

A friend of mine put one on his Mustang - the control box kept crapping out. After 3 boxes he gave up. That was several years ago, they could be better now.

I used to know a guy about 3 or 4 yrs ago that had one on his Maverick. He said when it ran it was great but he had so many problems, he gave up on it.
