    Sorry, another header question.

I called jegs today and I asked them about the hooker comp 6901 and if they werent the right ones if i could send them back. When i called ford maverick with a 302 up on jegs, it gave me the 6901 part number but when i hit add to cart it changed and went to 67-73 mustangs with a 351W. anyway he said that they didnt even make headers for a maverick anywhere near 6901. he said the closest number is like 6110. those are more than twice the price?

Should i order the 520-6901 anyway and see if they fit?

6901-1 is what I have in the Sprint. The -1 is for ceramic coating.

I wish i could get that motor for just a "few" extra dollars! Boy would that intimidate ricers at my school. Pull up with it stickin outa my hood Oh man. Haha! Thanks for everything!

Rick, I feel your pain, but in a different level, me being sixteen and lazy without a job, 160 on headers, on anything, is a lot of money to me!

I understand entirely Todd, and commend you on your enthusiasm and real-world views.

Good luck against those meany ricers...at the track! (that's the
"old man" in me coming out).

    Be safe,

    Rick

6901-1 is what i have too. they fit great. all you have to do is pull the motor mount bolts and lift the engine a couple of inches. i took mine off the other day to pull the tranny. the -1 ceramic coating is $180 more but if you can swing it there definitely worth it. by the way what part of nj are you in. iwas born and lived in montclair until i was 19 (a long time ago).:p

How long did it take for them to get to your house?

Lemme get this straight then . The 6901-1 fits behind 302 in a mav?

Has anyone tried them with a C6 ?

Will these headers clear a column shift car?
