Gonna pic up my truck tuesday. I bought a red 1998 f150 extended cab 4.6 4x4 auto. I went to look at it yesturday and loved it. The interior is tan leather and not a flaw anywhere. The tranny was rebuilt 11 months ago. Its got a new radiator and has had the heads completely redone. I've been driving my explorer for 3 yrs and can't stand not having a truck. I can't wait to get it. I feel like a kid waiting for xmass........lol

I know what you mean! I sold my Mustang so I could get a truck, a 1998 Dodge Ram. So far, so good!

Great choice! I have a 99 Extended cab XLT 4.6 and love it. Gets 16-18 mpg and rides great. Plenty of power to pull a car on a trailer if you keep it out of overdrive. Got 185,000 on mine now, uses maybe 1/2 quart between changes. We drive it more than anything else we have.
