yes I finaly put my 302 into my comet 1975 and had some problem. in first time here's some info

    -302 from a 1977 granada with c4 trans.
-in comet 1975 before, inline 6 250 with c4 trans

the question is why the engine (302) didn't fit with the original transmission?? I know that flywhell on 6 was smaler than the one on 302 but can I put the small flywheel from my 250 on 302 to fit with the trans???

I finaly put 302 with is original trans (from granada) but why 2 c4 trans are different cause the biger flywheel cant enter in my comet trans cause it made contact with trans frame inside??

so it's a lot of question but make your best :)

in the same time does some body have a trans. frame mount for V8

    Thanks
    David:confused:

    Tranny

There are two different size bellhousings for the C4, one for the small flexplate and one for the larger. Must match each one up, if both bell housings bolt to the front pump bolts, just swap them out. flexplates can be another option but you must have the same torque conveter bolt pattern for the one you have.

    Well

It's best to go ahead and change that out, otherwise if you stick your foot in it really good, you might silng your driveshaft out. Or go through u-joints like candy. I think that mine cost 12.00. Cheap as far a peace of mind goes. Good luck, Country

hi, m.a.v. suggested to me with my swap to put the compleat motor mount together and bolt it to the car. then sit the motor on top. doing it that way was a snap. i moved the motor around and my son put the bolts in.j.m.o...frank...:bananaman i love that little nanner guy.
