I sent my parts car to the junkyard in heaven. It sure was a sad site seeing it getting loaded up on the trailer.

Will, I feel your pain! I too have sent one to the crusher!
I just bought a mav of the e-bay motors. I suppose most of you guys saw it. It was the white one that was listed as a parts car or drag car. The guy said the body was strait and just a bit of rust on the rear quarter. He said it was a 74 and it was a 73, he said the engine compartment was detailed and ready for a motor, Haha my butt it was! NOT! He siad that some one cut the shock towers for a larger moter and he considered it a "good job". I saw that chop job and thought, dang what a waist of good pop rivets!

I got hosed on this car. I paid 300 bucks for it. I suppose i'll part it out to recoupe the cost. I wanted to drop a motor in it the night i got it home. LOL Well...I was a good little "e-bay'er" and went ahead with the purchase.

Sorry for venting.. I had my son along with me, What a great lesson to both of us. He got to see first hand what its like to be "HOSED"!

I'm not all that bent about it, It was a 300 dollar car. Not a bad price for such a "e-bay" lesson on how to buy. Better than if I paid 2500.00 for a car and got reamed. There are some good parts on it though.
I was counting on the "shell" to be in good shape as discribed by the seller. I can see this one will be stripped and hauled to the big crusher in the sky.

    Just remember, Buyer beware!

    Mark (sore rear end) B.
