All I can say is "Holy Crud!" You know that thing screams! I wonder how he gets the rear to hook up well when drag racing. It's hard enough to do with a 302, but a 440? Damn.

What was a piece, is now a beast! ;)

Well Scott, I think I'd cut those perfect floorpans out and save them, because somebody will be willing to pay for them. I'm sure my wife would beg me to buy them if I was restoring my 77, which her feet almost fell out of a couple months back. :D

Someone needs to cut out an entire floor so repro's can be made ....

Who would you send them to to get repros made? I have a 72 Grabber that is going to be retired soon due to broken rear frame, lots of door and fender rust and rusted cowls. Not to mention the worlds worst rear quarter replacement. But I think the floors are still good. (go figure)

So, who would I send them to to be used as paterns for reproductions?

Autokrappers doesn't make anything. They just buy reproduction stuff from the people who do. Your chances are slim to none to get floor panels reproduced. Most places wont touch them unless you pay up front, the tooling costs and then guarantee a minimum order. I tried to get the firewall/heater hose grommets redone. It would cost me almost $5000 in tooling costs and then I would have to buy 500 of them. I once ask the head hancho at Autokrafters about getting some lower quarter panel patches made. Just the lower portion behind the rear wheel. He said he doubted there would be enough money in it to be worth his while. Can you believe that? who wouldnt need this part?
