i am having a hard time finding referance material on repairing my 1974 maverick. does anyone know where i can get a chiltons manuel or something? i've looked at local book stores, at the library, online, and on ebay. unless, of course, you are willing to give me step by step instructions... can anyone help me?:confused:

Go to the used bookstore on the corner about 1 block from the main entrance of the Tacoma Dome. They have 2 automotive sections. The repair manuals are toward the back of the store in the center. There are thousands of manuals there, the section is about 12 ft high and 20 ft wide. There were 6 Chilton manuals for Maverick/Comets there in July. The year before that, there were 7(I bought one). There are 4 1970-1974 manuals and 2 1970-1976 manuals.
