Just found a yellow 1:24 scale model Maverick. Anyone want me to buy it for them?

It is at a gas station down the street from me. He only has one, so if you want it, let me know, and I will pick it up and help get it to you.

Has a $14.99 price tag, I will just charge shipping and packaging costs to get it to you.

Mods--I did not post this in "For Sale" section because I am not selling it, but simply finding it and helping someone else buy it and obtain it. Feel free to move if you feel it would be more appropriate in a For Sale subforum. OR let me know and I will cut and paste over and add the location, price, etc.

OK, I have a prospective buyer, so I will pick it up tomorrow morning if it is still there.

Thanks for helping me out here, Dave...:p

Especially now that I have already bought for the guy and drove to the post office for his shipping quote.

Personally, I have never seen one. Only been looking for about 10 years.

It is pretty cool, so if nobody wants it, I wouldn't mind keeping it. Doors and hood open (only has a 250 in it) and you can turn the wheels and the steering wheel is linked to them.

If original buyer backs out, just FYI, Priority Mail to Maryland was $9.50, so I would assume anywhere in the continental US would be the same price.

Says a check is in the mail, so consider it sold.

I guarantee the buyer isn't backing out and that it is sold!

    Thanks, Scott!

I actually have 4 of them, a yellow, red, green, and a white one... I saw them at a swap meet and just could not help myself, I figured i might be able to get creative and get some model parts and put a 302 in on and maybe make some small bumpers for it haaaaa
