First of all ... why in the world did MotorMax make a R/C Pinto and Pacer before making a Mustang II and a Maverick .... are they nuts!

Anyway ... the quality and detail on the R/C Pinto was actually pretty nice. If they come out with an R/C Maverick with the same quality of detail I (we) will be extremely happy with it! I would say it was 1:18 scale ....

My Wal-Fart has them in all the colors, I think the Pacers were Yellow, Brown & Blue
The Pintos were Red, Black & Blue I think.

I think there are Gremlins also, but not sure if they are RC or just 1:16 scale large cars.

I agree that the Maverick & Mustang II would've been a much better first round choice to make. Actually I would've preferred the Comet GT & The Stallion over the Mustang II just my :2cents: though! :biglaugh: :evilsmile

Went to a Walmart today and picked up 2 white and 3 yellow ones. They had a bunch of the 1/16 scale RC cars. The pinto looked cool with the blower. They also had about a dozen of the 1/24 scale. No Mavericks yet in these sizes.

Just bought the R/C Pinto at Wal Mart

I just bought my son a black one and my daughter a red one. They are pretty fast considering they run on 4 AA batteries. I got'em for $6 each. The Pacer was too ugly for me to buy even at that price. There was another rype of car there but I do not remember what it was. Today was just one big BLUR, I may have not even seen a third car. I might have imagined it. :)

Around here theres a bunch of red and yellow but no white! Yellow definately seems to be the most abundant color.

Our Wal-Fart want's $19.97 for those things! If it was a Maverick or a Comet, I'd drop the cash in a hearbeat. Not for a Pacer, and not for a Pinto! :D
