Has anyone installed late model mustang rims on their Maverick/Comet? If so, which ones? I plan on using late model Bullet rims in a 17 x 10.5 rear size on my '75 Maverick and was wondering w/ the factory 8" rear and a 6.83" wheel backspacing, would spacers be required on the rear for the outer rim to sit almost flush w/ the fender? Not going for the sucked in look. I would like to stay w/ the 8" if at all possible. Ideas?

While I still owned it, I put 17x8 Cobra rims (5.72" b.s.) on my 76 to if they'd fit. I wound up using 1" billet adapters to fit them. Looked damn good. Wound up selling the Mav and putting the wheels & adapters on my 68 Cougar.
