My brother recently but a 95 lincoln mark viii , and the previous owner snaped a bolt in the throttle body which connects the air duct to the top of throttle body , any back on topic here as we were removing the throttle body we had to remove a electrical connection on the bottom of the thorttle body , i believe its the throttle postion sensor and it had those locking clips on each side and they snaped off just woundering is it possible to replace these clips or fix them . pic one is male connection were they snaped off pic 2 is the bottom of the throttle body were it plugs in any help greatly appreciated
You could replace the connector or just wrap a zip tie around the plug and sensor once its back together and leav it at that.
just looked at the autozone website seems they have the connection . the zip tie is a good idea if ends up being the wrong one thanks Mavman72
no problem,That plastic stuff gets cooked and brittle after a few thousand heat/cold cycles. Not an uncommon problem.Have fun!!!
