Lokar kick down w/Demon issue

    Its maverick day....

    Lokar kickdown is rubbing my valve cover where it attaches to the carb. Carb is a Holley Street Demon (making the switch from an Edelbrock 1406).

    Anyone heard of this problem? Search didn't ping much. Where it is rubbing, I can only assume this is a common problem I just haven't heard of.

    Thinking of flipping the attaching stud to the inside and mounting the cable that way. Unless someone objects to that.

    Using a thicker spacer plate might also work if hood clearance isn't an issue...

    Awesome, thanks! I'll order one.

    The 1" spacers from holley are cheaper than the 1/2" ones for some reason - so it looks like I'm going 1"

    I think all you have to do is move the linkage to the inside of the throttle away from the valve cover. that is how it is set up on my holley.

    That was definitely my preferred method (super cheap). If you haven't had any problems that way I'll do that right now and cancel my spacer order
