Loose column shifting.

    Hi, I'm having some issues with my second gear, the shift stick keeps falling into neutral.
    The shift stick is really loose any idea.
    I'll upload a video tomorrow to explain better my issue.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    If your shifter is on the column and this is a manual transmission, the shifter "collar" is broke and will need replaced. Can be hard to find.

    could be broken or missing plastic bushings on the shifter linkage....:huh:
