lug nuts

    ok i was thinking about purchasing the weld pro star wheels, summit p/n WLD-96-58208, which lug nuts would i need to buy for these wheels? part numbers would help alot :)

    Looks like the CLL-L5120 Would be the ones you want.

    Missing my old '70 Maverick
    If you ever plan on running it at the track, you 'might' need open-ended nuts for the rear depending on what kind of day the Tech is having.

    I had to change mine out to open-ended on the rear. They allowed closed ended on front.

    I don't have an NHRA rule book handy, but I believe that is one of their rules.


    Can anyone else jump in to confirm?

    yup.....if running slicks must have wheel studs......

    nhra rule is that the diameter of the stud, say if it is 3/8 or 7/16, that length must go into the stud. doesn't have to go past it. my front ones don't go all the way through. :)
