What manual steering boxes can I use for a conversion from power to manual? Also can I use the rest of my power steering setup (the arms and rack thingy)?

You dont have to change anything to convert to manual. Just get one of those adapters from any Mustang supply house. It takes the place of the control valve. Then just remove the slave cylinder, hoses, pump & brackets.

you only notice it when turning while stopped or going very slow. The power boxes have less turns lock to lock. I've dont think its that bad myself.

I had to change the pitman arm when I changed over to manual but I am not familiar with the aftermarket piece Mavaholic mentioned . That was also 15 years ago . 8)

Mavaholic is correct, and I'd also like to add that I don't recommend switching to a manual steering gear box, as the steering ratio is much slower (for less steering effort) than the power steering gear box, so the steering won't be as quick and the car's handling will suffer as a result...

You can use a manuel gear box from Monarchs and Granada 76-79 maybe even later I'm not sure on that.
If you are going to use this car on the street going to manuel streering may not be the best thing, now if you are going to race the car then that's exactly what you want to do.
The power steering can be a little scary at high speeds and make it feel like you have no control, but for a daily driver keep the PS.
As always just my 2 cents, good luck on your project.
