Manual Tranny Swap????

    I now have a 302 and aod in my car ,but the aod isn't worth haveing. I am consideriny a manual tranny swap. Anyone that has done this that can give me information on what all is needed will be greatly appreciated. Also are there any webpages that have info on this topic

    Since you're taking out the AOD and putting in a manual, i assume you'll probably want a T-5 (or stronger). I'll be putting together a T-5 swap page shortly, complete with pictures, if you can wait a week. I don't have a website so i'll just donate my page to someone else. What's wrong with the AOD??

    I have personally never gotten the aod to shift correctly. This is proabably my fault but the tension cable in my opinion is to much of a hassle to have and I would enjoy rolling throught the gears in my maverick. Thanks for any help in the details of your swap
