My daughter was given a Clarion mp3/cd player for Christmas, along with a paid "standard installation". I talked to the audio shop, and they said this included putting the radio in, (it's already been cut out, so the new one will fit) and attaching all speakers that were already there. Anything else is extra $$. Her Maverick had 2 speakers in the back seat at some time, but were gone when I bought the car. I installed 2 sony speakers, and ran the wires up to where the radio will be. There are no speakers up front at all. I have another sony that will fit on the drivers' side, but nothing for the dash. We also have the pictured set from one of her brother's project cars. She wants it put in the trunk. I can run speaker wire from it, but is there something else special we need to do? (amp, etc?) What speaker should I buy for the dash? Sorry if this sounds cheap, but that's what I can do now Rhonda
Do a search for a thread I started called "Dash Speaker". Placing that one speaker inside the trunk will make it not able to be heard.
for thows s9pakers u dont need an am9p unless u want it to bump and if she doses get a small am9p like maybe a 150 w
thanks, I found the thread on the dash speaker, don't know how I missed it before! Y'all are great help, as always. Hey, I was in Waco on Monday, Maverick Mark, taking another child to get a driveshaft repaired, after it fell out onto the road. ("no, I didn't jump on it [too hard]" the boy says) Rhonda
