Dunno if anyone has been following the mini series Steven Spielbergs Taken on the SciFi Channel but tonights episode had what looked like a 1977 Brown 4 Dr Mav there were quite a few scenes with this car in it, looked almost like the 74 on Ebay awhile back but I'm pretty sure this one was a 77. Looked brand spankin new whoever did this car up for the movie did a good job in restoring it.

Thought I was seeing things, but I guess not. Its funny when you own one how easy it is to spot them.

    My theory...

Its just second nature seeing them in films. They just pop right out at ya!
    Reason:
We all have spent hours in junk yards trying to spot them, In the movies we don't have to battle the wasp nests, kudzoo, briars or other obsticles. Simply sit your butt down in your favorite chair, and whatch them go by! You can't miss'em.
We are all well trained !

Also seen on the history channel they had a FoMoCo show and they showed thousands of mavericks ready to go to dealer after they came off the line talking about ford in the early 70s how they mass produced cars and the numbers they was turning

    Dazed and Confused

There are some really good shots of a 71 or 72 Grabber all throughout the movie "Dazed and Confused". This is really a pretty good movie with the setting back in 1976 about a bunch of high school kids. I graduated in 75 so I absolutely loved it (lots of good memories). It's chocked full of older cars from the late 60's and early 70's. If you haven't seen it, go rent it.
Hope every one has a great New Year.
